What is the layout?

The course was designed around the existing trees and is pushed back between 30 to 50 feet from Regents Park Drive (top of picture, in white). It is bounded on the south by Pebble Creek (waterway) and by law is set back 30 feet from the creek.
The course starts near the Pebble Creek Golf Club Pro Shop right next to the existing 22-space parking lot. A small gazebo (shown in brown) will be manned in the busier early evening hours to distribute putters and balls. The first 9 holes are played walking to the west, then the course loops back towards the golf club and ends at the starting point.
Because there won't be any hills or elevation changes, the course will appear "flat" from the road. Landscaping will also hide the course. Three rock water fountains are shown; one is a waterfall.
A decorative, black aluminum fence (similar to the one at the Community Center) will run along the Regents Park side to keep kids safe from the road and to restrict access to the course. A hedge will run along the fence to hide it.
The existing sidewalk and bridge stays. It is a protected public easement and will not be changed in any way through this zoning petition, nor will it ever be changed without the Pebble Creek Homeowner's Association consent. Due to concerns regarding the course passing through the existing sidewalk, a revision has been submitted that will keep the putting course entirely to the east of the existing sidewalk. This allows the course to be fenced such that mini-golf patrons will not have access to the existing sidewalk to the community center. This new routing shown above keeps the course to the golf course side of the sidewalk, and keeps the sidewalk and bridge exactly where it is today.
